I was always raised to never say sorry after a car accident or in any scenario where police could be involved. I guess it’s just an extension of that being drilled into my head when I was young!

Hence why I said I’m on the other side of the fence. I don’t know why so many of you took such great offense!
That’s super neat, thanks for sharing!
Because someone else’s misfortune is inherently not my responsibility. I can easily express sympathy in another way.
I’m not frustrated at being asked why I’m apologizing. Rather, I’m frustrated that it is the norm to apologize for things that you didn’t do.
Brick Immortar produces incredibly high-quality and detailed documentaries of naval accidents.
Badempanada produces really well-written video essays on all sorts of political-adjacent stuff, usually with the intent to tear down the western world’s propaganda wall.
Gtrippin is a super small channel but they do incredible psychedelics simulators. Link due to small size
Seems to me like the latter is the likely outcome.
And harming his nation’s stability in every conceivable aspect as a result.
I’m on the other side of the fence for this one.
Good man/woman. Love to hear it.
He hasn’t signed off on anything yet. Analysts seem to be in almost uniform agreement that a cut will come next month, though…
Yeah… I hardly ever remember my dreams, but last night had some very odd and vivid nightmares with interesting real-life occurrences following thereafter.
All is well initially, but then it gets cramped. People keep showing up. Everyone in the pool begins to plod around in circles, like the kids would do in the kiddie pool to make whirlpools.
People continue to show up. Eventually, the sky darkens to a sickly green, and people begin to fall from the balconies and slam onto the pavement as they are pushed from their vantages by new arrivals. The pool sees people drowning and trampled underfoot by the masses. Dream over.
When we arrive to pick up the clothes, the lady invites us in. Once we get in, all lights go out, and she starts gyrating and holding her hands up. The temperature drops dramatically and I feel an uneasy presence. Dream over.
After I awoke from the second dream, I had noticed our apartment’s WiFi had cut out at almost the same time. I know it was almost the same time, because our TV was playing a rain livestream all night, and the TV screensaver pops up after 5 minutes of buffering. The screensaver popped up right after I had finished using the bathroom; I reckon I was in the BR for about five minutes.
Really weird, and typing this out has me scratching my head further. Cased the whole apartment, but everything was normal, so I went back to bed. Rain started back up about a minute or two after I laid back down.
“Do you have games on your phone”?
Daily beast is the liberal answer to Daily Mail, in my uninformed opinion.
Not OP but I’d be happy to foot the bill.
We have a parking garage with a few windows in its corners (fucking incompetent design) and birds will often get confused / trapped by the windows.
I will ALWAYS stop and help get them out but sliding a folder / book under them and moving them to an opening.
What’s interesting is that the birds always allow me to help. Perhaps it’s because they’re just exhausted, or perhaps they really understand that I’m trying to help them. I do not know.
I don’t know how people stay “locked in” to audiobooks. My mind wanders when the text isn’t commanding my attention, and I lose the plot — ESPECIALLY if I’m doing something while I listen.
Not to mention they’re kind of hard to clean! Electric can openers are the worst. When the top pops off, they often send the contents of the can all over, too.
Mark my words. Zohran will neuter himself the moment he gets in office. If not immediately, a year later.
