Nope! The only laws that really apply to those are which breaks are paid and which are not. If you are given any breaks, 20 minutes or less must be paid and count towards OT. Anything over can be off the clock.

My bf has a discord server with his friends too. Whenever one of this is online, they hop in the voice channel and just hang out. If someone else logs in, they chat, otherwise they just leave it up.
There’s no federal law in the US that requires them to give you a lunch break. My state doesn’t have one either.
Check your local laws. In many states, there is no requirement that you take a lunch. There is no federal requirement for that either.
I’ve had employers tell me that that I legally had to clock out for a certain amount of time, but that’s bullshit. It might be company policy but it’s not a law.
Also, this applies to teens working too. The laws are bad. Found this out when Subway was making my 16 yr old niece work 9-12 hour shifts with no lunch break.

That’s awesome! But, for possessive and controlling relationships, surveillance can be harmful.
Personally, my location is shared with my sister. I’d share it with my partner but he is a bit of a Luddite. I wouldn’t be sharing because he asked, I would be doing it so he could find me easily in an emergency.
And, I wouldn’t ask him to share his. If he turned it on and wanted me to have it, that’s cool. And if not, that’s cool too.

Travis Ward said the driver was shot after the collision, transported to the hospital and taken into surgery. For that reason, he said, police were unable to determine whether he was intoxicated.
Nah. They could have requested a warrant for a blood test while he was in the hospital if they wanted to.
Came here to say this too

I kinda get them not wanting to deal with porn when you can’t verify consent and age of the performers, but the games don’t make sense because there aren’t live performers to worry about.
Mostly that stuff annoys me on Steam because it’s always at the top when I’m sorting by trending/popular, but I don’t think it needs to be removed either.

I know people talk about pattern recognition and what not but that’s not all that different than human knowledge. I learn words by hearing them repeated too
I know how to read his body language and the tone of his barks to know what he wants. He will even show me, if I ask him.
I suspect he understands a lot more than I am capable of deciphering as well.

Don’t get me wrong, KS still has some assholes but MO really seems to be swinging for the fences.
I think the problem is that for a long time Tesla, and specifically Elon, went around telling everyone how great their autopilot was. Turns out that was all exaggeration and sometimes flat out lying.
They showed videos of the car driving on its own. Later, we found out it was actually being controlled remotely.
Yeah, the driver wasn’t operating the vehicle safely but, Tesla told him that he didn’t have to.
