Few things are worse than Weird Al songs stuck in your head. He’s great and I actually listen to the words of his song. Don’t a lot of the time just hear the melody but Al is funny. Just recently watched the Simpsons with him singing, was an amusing random watch. He helped me understand satire better, though always a fan of cheesy satire from Mel Brooks, National Lampoons and of course UHF. For movies I’ll also add, Spaceballs (Men in Tights, but never fully watched Blazing Saddles outside of bits which is by all accounts awesome), loaded weapon one and well Mr Als UHF in case people wanted something less than serious to watch sometime. In the vein of ‘cant rain all the time’(Original Crow movie), can’t always be serious and just need a funny one. Though I do know the humour isn’t for all.

That was flippant I know but I think if they were properly shunned the US will either learn or accept their place at the table with Russia and North Korea. The amount he says during his word salads of speeches is amazing. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say so many words without a tiny bit of relevance to the previous sentance, or the previous comma if typing it out. Truly if you want someone to speak without saying anything meaningful, he’s your guy.

I gave it a fair go after about 600 hours in factorio (before the expansion, actually possibly most before version 1.0), it’s decent and while the building feels quicker once you get the hang of things I never cared for the actual non building parts with the animals you had to deal with, and more jumping required.

Plus half the fun of factorio was bots and blueprints and watching the swarm work then your power draining cause you didn’t account for surge. Unsure if they added them in eventually to satisfactory.

Also did many hours in Dyson sphere, something about creating production chains is quite relaxing, along with nicely made train routes that never stopped due to poor signaling though that was just factorio. Only put 60 hours in Dyson Sphere, proably cause it wasn’t full release unsure where they’re at now been a few years…half a decade whatever, time flies these days.

Yeah just wait until the US becomes the country other democracies like western nations are installing their own government in. That’ll be an interesting time. Huh never realized that for gas but makes sense. Parents had a gas stove that I hated turning it on as a teen cause if it didn’t light I felt like I had to wait some time, don’t recall thinking of the fan even then which would have been the obvious solution but then I wouldn’t be sure the gas hasn’t accumulated cause well no Google back then to check.

Usually gave it like 4 clicks (of the spark trying to light it) if not lit then wait a bit. I sort of wish I understood gasses better, even if I knew high school chemistry well at the time. Never had a gas one since I’ve been adult to think of that part.

My work computer had an update yesterday, logged in and my usual browser wasn’t the default. Have seen it a few times. So while I usually agree if it is my usual I change it back to that. I hate windows programs asking to be my default, I know what I want, if it’s you you’ll know otherwise piss off.

So many windows notifications lately for the stupidest crap. I already set it up how I liked now stop bugging me so I can write code. Also if I wanted backups, to set up a Microsoft account my windows install will be the first to know. Otherwise piss off.

Do they get to the crescendo? I don’t know much about music but trying my hand and took some course and there was a comment ‘listen to this one it sounds like it’s building the entire song’ but the song never gets there. Bit melancholy/sad type tones chord progression but seems like it’s epic in its sound. Course the epic part may be due to the composer knowing his stuff but the idea was a chord progression that kept building to nowhere.

So curious of that sounds about right for your description. I forget the name but when the instructor put a link I was like oh yeah that song, like lots of movies or probably commercials used similar for the emotion. À

I’m not sure the last time I saw the phrase international observers offhand (I am sure it’s happened but just missed it) but they are definitely needed in that country. They seem to be degrading themselves to third world, in function if not by cold war meaning.

I played for awhile a couple years back and it was fun. I owned it for awhile before but didn’t put serious time till then for whatever reason. I think the general consensus is that it definitely improved over the years since release. I never did anything but solo things too so the harder content was still nothing I checked out.

I think they got a lot of the major bugs out but given it’s a fallout game there’s plenty more I assume.

Last I played storage sucked without the subscription for the gathering box which is a big downside cause I love to pick up crap.

I never watched it growing up but everything I’ve heard about it since I was an adult is great. Never watched much skit comedy outside of kids on the hall and that’s just when not much else was on.

Nowadays I’d say the kids in the hall stuff was much better than other stuff I watched, cause I’m not sure I even remember…some syndicated sitcom I assume, waiting for dinner.
