Why is that surprising?
The push for more data centers has just been to fleece investors. There isn’t any organic demand for the output from them

Have to be careful, though. You need a curated social media presence…
Not having social media is considered suspicious in the US https://papersplease.org/wp/2025/05/30/us-state-dept-says-silence-or-anonymity-on-social-media-is-suspicious/

Same for fingerprint unlock

It had value, before it bought xAI.
Now there’s an infinite money pit attached to it

Where in the source does Firefox expose machine-id to websites?
With a quick grep I’m only seeing it around audio?

All the money then stays in the same collective pool, and xAI’s numbers look better

Not OP, but you can control people before their death, so… Probably write other people around them and force them to help before their suicides?

I will say the Rust stdlib seems to make TOCTOU bugs really easy to make for filesystem operations
But, yes, Ubuntu switching to a test project hurts it

And what a low peak it was

I found out you can run a local single player instance of 2009scape, and have been messing with it for nostalgia

Once per purchase disc, at participating retailers, meaning it still killed the resale market if it can’t keep getting traded
You should probably enable debian-security at least…
They’re on 6.12.101
