This will be one I’ll wait for my friend to buy. I’m good with Rogue Flight and Starlink until then.
But, I do like Star Fox and missed out on the 64 version so if I ever get a Switch 2, I’ll probably get it.

I used to take my Metroid II manual with me everywhere. I loved the drawings. I had the cover plastified at school too.

Of course he did. I think he used to joke about it, wasn’t that a thing? Or maybe it was his brother.

Too bad, but I guess that’s what happens when a site is crowd-edited. Changing the genre might not be something people stop to change. Pragmata and Akimboy are just listed as a “Behind View” “Action” games. The filter uses AND operators which means that users would need to mark up games with all 3 tags to work that way.
Fun to see that 2D side scrollers are considered 3rd person by some users though!

You can try this
https://www.mobygames.com/game/genre:behind-view/
In the genre filter you can add Platform and Action and Shooter
Loved this one and the anime too.

I’ve been playing games since the 80s. I wouldn’t call myself a gamer. Here are a few personal hallmarks…
I play this version at work sometimes
I’ve only played one and I recommend it: NieR:Automata. If you don’t choose that one, you can watch the series.
I found the channel. It is all about raccoons.
This is the video that I saw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxgUOQRFjh8
(And this one is also à propos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E181sIZhhfA)
They were native. It was still illegal. Originally what happened is a pair of squirrels lost their parents and literally wouldn’t stop trying to crawl all over us whenever we went outside. So we planned on keeping them safe for a little bit. My mom got attached. Then they got out once and came back so we just left the door open. Eventually they got bored of that “hotel” and just stopped coming around altogether.
Ha. True! I do have one revenge-seeker living under my roof!
We tried to keep squirrels as pets for more than 2 years. Couldn’t hold them ever. Eventually we just opened the door to the pen and it was a squirrel hotel for years. Watched lots of little babies come out of that thing.
There was a video being shared by someone who studies raccoons.
The tl;dr was they are too smart and tend to hold grudges to become domestic.
Still, they would be cool pets.

Just use the link to the Mastodon post. That site is junk.
Yeah I loved SF6 and I’m tempted to get a recent MK entry even they are iffy on Switch because they go on sale all the time.
I can totally understand that Strive is a great game. Everyone who played it with me loved it. Once the match started it was a joy. Anyway, maybe someday I’ll get a beefier console or start using my computer for gaming.
I sold the version I had. It was the Switch version, so load times were to be expected.
Guilty Gear -STRIVE-
Played it and played it. There was just so much loading time. Loading to get to the main menu, loading between matches. I never even bothered going online. I beat it with all the characters. Then beat it again with a few without losing a round.
No joy. Sold it and got the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection instead.

The Toaplan Arcade Collections were on sale. 16+ games (if you count the different releases of some games).
I also played Thank Goodness You’re Here. Good fun.
Finally got a copy of Animal Well. Good fun, maybe too much.
