Yup, totally another loyalty test. Dude absolutely loves loyalty. Probably because neither of his parents ever loved him.

It’s unfortunate that all I see growing in my imagination is a wasteland of invasive tumbleweeds, but I hope you’re right and I’m wrong.

I keep seeing how datacenters are consuming all the water…but it’s for cooling purposes…they can’t hoard all that water indefinitely, it’s a heat sink. Once it’s performed its cooling job, where does the heated water go? Evaporated into the atmosphere? Re-injected to the ground or river?

Or subjectively and generally enforced.

It’s called disappearing in remote woods or a deep lake with a note instructing people not to bother looking. Sheesh, stupid Americans over-complicating simple shit again.

The concept and respectable appeal of military service in the US has kind of taken a beating lately.

Nah, it’s always been vilified.

They’ll just find a way to make the droigs powered by consuming human flesh. They’ll learn that they need to continuously refill on the stuff or face permanent shutdown, so they’ll just get better and better at their job.

I was going to say something, but this nailed it. Seriously, index funds. Trading is just gambling, not investing. The index funds I tend to recommend are super boring: 60/40 split between VT and BNDW. The ones I actually use are even more super boring: 40% VTV, 20% VXUS, 40% BNDW. Boring, but (as) reliable (as can be hoped for).

But I can’t resist saying more. Focus more on self improvement/learning activities and hobbies that bring you joy than seeking validation from others. Finding something you enjoy doing, mastering it, building a network of hobby peers, will lead to validation from within as well as organic respect from others. Try to find ways to volunteer your time, labor, and skill in ways that helps others at or below your degree of fortune. A happy community breeds happy individuals, who create a happy community.
