The writers of Earth have really given up. They kept implying some cool sci fi universe flip but it’s just cyberpunk dystopia with repeating plot lines.

This is why I got a mini PC with five Ethernet ports and configured it as a router/pihole.

Everything goes through a WireGuard VPN, and I have DNS that’s private.

And I know it’s secure because I wrote the iptables myself.

The work I do is fun, and there have been quite a few times I was proud of who I was able to help out.

But a lot of what I do is supporting organizations I vehemently disagree with, even if I like the people I’m helping. And that mostly outweighs the good I feel I’ve done.

If I had to use Windows or wear pants it wouldn’t be worth it.

Or worse: AI is doing the QA as well

Republican PACs are using AI now.

I’ve been playing since 1991. My friend had a copy and I was so into it I’d go over to his house to play it when he wasn’t home. Then I got my own copy and I haven’t stopped playing since.

Well, except that one time where I had to have my wife hide the Civ V disc from me because I couldn’t stop myself.

I guess what I’m saying is take breaks and go outside, but I know your life will be “just one more turn…” from here on out.

I never thought I’d hate a senator more than Manchin.

Yes, I am in fact suggesting that.

The armor and utilities go under the suit. By the time the truth comes out the cops already look stupider.

This is why I say the best protest outfit is a clown costume. One: big baggy clothes that you can hide body armor and other utilities underneath. Two: face paint that hides you from facial recognition. And three: the cops are gonna look like idiots beating a clown.

And if you want a fourth reason, your friends can paint all your faces the same so you’re harder to identify in the crowd.

I was gonna suggest WireGuard but these are probably less work which is what a business wants.

Another bonus is you have more than just Remote Desktop to manage things.
