  • They tried the nitrogen hypoxia

Smith was strapped to a gurney wearing a full-face mask. His last words were said to be, “Tonight, Alabama causes humanity to take a step backwards. Thank you for supporting me. Love all of you.”[2] The nitrogen gas was administered beginning at 7:57 p.m.[27] Some witnesses commented that Smith looked as if he was conscious for several minutes[28][27] and “thrashed violently on the gurney”,[2] breathing heavily for several minutes before his breathing was no longer visible.[28] Smith appeared to lose consciousness at 8:02 p.m.[27] It appeared death occurred when movement of Smith ceased at 8:08 p.m.[27] The curtain to the witness room closed at 8:15 p.m.[29] He was pronounced dead at 8:25 p.m.[30]

  • one mind… just a different one

My point exactly. But ignoring that?

    they have to receive it

Define recieve, is inbox OK? Is a glance ok? Do they have to understand it? (Is an Italian meme a meme if I don’t speak italian?)

You were saying the OP wasn’t a meme, but it was recieved by at least you and me, and unknowably countless others.

  • Myself at two different points in time could be considered “two minds”: my mind now, my mind at the point of sending the email, especially if the time period involved is a long time and I forgot about it.

Failing that I could email it to anyone - they don’t even need to recieve the email as the qualia of receiving the communication wasn’t specified in the definition.

Reminder my original point was that eventually this conversation will lead to aporia.

  • While I sympathize with your frustration, this is the same question we were asking at the fin de ciecle over Duchamp’s Fontaine over “is this art?” - and has been repeated in “what is theatre/fiction?” “Is borat fiction?” “Is an advertisement a movie?” “Are documentaries neccessarily non fiction?” which leads you all the way back to epistemology, the Socratic method, and a state of aporia.

The only reasonable conclusion is “if anyone says it’s a meme it’s a meme”

  • “If you set meetings at an unusual time people have to be on time! That’s why we set it at 18 minutes before 9! It’s not so that we can check you’re definitely working by 9am! AND it allows us to discuss all important company matters every day. OK so order of business number one is my daughter had a school play last night and let me tell you not one of those recorders was played in tune…”
