I’m not saying we’re competing, I’m saying we don’t want to compete for the bottom and be like russia. They’re really hurting right now.
I make art that’s totally mine because I did it through AI. https://imgur.com/a/Rhgi0OC

I’m pretty sure this is illegal:
The Guardian examined those records, as well as hundreds of pages of deposition testimony of current and former employees of Amazon and supplier companies. Most of the documents and depositions – which were partially unsealed in recent months – have never been publicly reported on.
The California attorney general, Rob Bonta, alleges that Amazon’s tactics have coerced suppliers into raising the prices of their products with its rivals.
In the case of the ice-cream maker, Bonta’s office points to emails that say Amazon temporarily took “down” the supplier’s inventory off its platform – a move that prompted its manufacturer, a firm called Maxi-Matic, to scramble to pull its inventory from Best Buy, eliminating Amazon’s price competition from the electronics retailer.

The entire world will have to rebuild. Not sure why everyone wants the US to be as bad as Russia.

They aren’t being charged in the US, they’re being charged in the UK. They’re dual citizens. I guess trump could stop them from being extradited? https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwymly9yd33o

Didn’t Lindsey Graham go to Russia for the 4th last year? Politico is kind of saying that Lindsay died not soon after a bill was agreed upon to put sanctions on Russia. I guess put it on the pile.

Edit: I thought Lindsey was part of that group, but it was 7 other republican senators and a republican house member in 2018 :

The Federal Communications Commission approved Reflect Orbital’s plan to launch Eärendil-1, an experimental satellite carrying an 18-meter-wide reflective surface. The mirror would redirect sunlight toward a targeted area after dark, producing a beam roughly five kilometers wide.
The July 9 authorization applies to one demonstration satellite, not the enormous constellation the California company eventually hopes to build. Reflect Orbital has described plans for more than 50,000 mirrors by 2035, creating what it calls “sunlight on demand.”

That’s one instance, we all have to keep trying. It really depends on the state, who’s answering the phone and who it gets sent to for it to be handled.

They’re currently holding up the state’s investigations by saying they’re doing their own and doing nothing.
Months after the ICE shootings in Minnesota, a federal probe remains elusive
Months after federal immigration agents shot and killed two people and wounded a third in separate incidents during the ICE surge in Minneapolis, the status of the federal investigations into the three shootings remains an open question.
In the case of Alex Pretti, a U.S. citizen killed by Border Patrol agents, the Department of Homeland Security told NPR in a statement that the Justice Department is leading an investigation. The DOJ, however, did not respond to NPR’s request for comment.
In the case of Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, a Venezuelan immigrant who was shot by an ICE officer and survived, DHS told NPR an internal investigation is underway.
As for Renee Macklin Good, a U.S. citizen killed by ICE officer Jonathan Ross, DHS said in a statement “the matter remains under investigation.”

So, that leaves it up to the states? No take backsies.
It’s the price fixing. If the market was the way it used to be, you could afford rent.

Senator Mike Gabbard and Carol Gabbard released this statemen
Wait, Tulsi is a nepo baby?
Gerald Michael “Mike” Gabbard (born January 15, 1948) is an American politician who is the Hawaii state senator for District 21 from the Democratic Party, since 2006. Gabbard rose to prominence for efforts to prevent same-sex marriage in Hawaii by passing a 1998 amendment to the Constitution of Hawaii to give the state legislature “the power to reserve marriage to opposite-sex couples” under the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). Gabbard, who was born in American Samoa, is the first person of Samoan descent to serve in the Hawaii Senate.

I think it’s both. They borrowed money on the future of AI.

This is worth reading the entire thing, but here’s some portions
David Michael Brouillette’s ex-wife said he is the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer who fatally shot Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine, according to Thursday reporting by The Portland Press Herald.
Common Dreams has not independently verified Ashley Brouillette’s claims—which also included that he was abusive during their relationship; she previously reported concerns about the US Army veteran’s mental health to his superiors in the military; and she and her family have received threats since reports of her ex’s involvement in the shooting began to spread online.

Name and shame. Also, just because we’re catching one and not catching all of them, doesn’t mean that we can’t go after this one. Hopefully, the people you’re talking about will go after their employers too.

He could be replaced with AI and AI would def do a better job. He’s not only evil, but he keeps trying to do new markets that absolutely suck: Legless Universe, Creep Glasses, Spy on everyone and propagandize them in a closed, addicting environment. Okay, that last one has been really successful.

Please let them all be magas that get kicked out.

This doesn’t even touch the price fixing.
Greystar turned away apartment applicants trying to use housing vouchers to pay rent, according to a watchdog group.

Is this to get rid of the women? *Or maybe to make the older soldiers “look better”?
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Wednesday that the Pentagon will begin requiring annual testosterone deficiency screenings for active-duty service members age 30 and older, saying the move is designed to improve military readiness and support long-term health.
While the screenings will be mandatory for eligible service members, Hegseth said that any resulting treatment would remain voluntary. “If treatment is recommended, it’s entirely your choice to receive testosterone replacement therapy,” he said.
Ebay suuuuuuuuuuucks. We should go back to craigslist, but in a less get victimized way.
