My partner has the same issue. I don’t mind bell peppers or seltzer. Interestingly, she did actually like our neighbors’ bell peppers, which I assume lack some note of bitterness. Or they are different if they are garden fresh, but we have never grown our own.
“Paprika” (which is just dried and grounded bell pepper) is one of the three most basic condiments used almost everywhere: salt, pepper and paprika. ;-)
Bell peppers. They contaminate every dish they’re in. The entire thing just tastes of pepper. Yeugh

Do you notice that the green ones are MUCH worse than red and yellow peppers?
Also, what are your thoughts on seltzer water?
I can taste bitterness that others don’t. I’m always looking for other people with the same “gift”.
