    I still remember when my cousin first showed me this game, it was still in alpha and I think I costed like 2USD. He told me how cool it was and innovative but all I saw was the terrible graphics. Then I uttered the worst take of my life: “yeah, I don’t think this will go anywhere. I doubt people will want to play this much”. I have never been so wrong in my entire life.

      I have more time in Minecraft that I do all of my other games combined probably doubled.

      I have spent an absurd amount of time playing Minecraft. Lol

      Hands down my favorite game everhands down my favorite game ever

    I know the exact day I was made aware of Minecraft, Sept. 17th, 2010, because it was from this Penny Arcade comic:

    I never got into it, though. I prefer games with more structure.

      that’s what i was thinking… i guess games like Fortnite and Roblox coming along made Minecraft feel older than it is. (never got into any of them so they’re pretty much the same category for me)

      Honestly yeah. I bought it for like 3 bucks right after the indev version was released on pirate sites. That feels like ages ago

    I thought “came out” was when the game left the Beta stage (that was in 2011 during Minecon btw). In that logic, it’s only really 12 years ago.

    But since Minecraft officially considers itself to be 15, I’d say I stand corrected.
