I picked up SIGNALIS on sales yesterday. Its a game from 2022, made in graphics of early 3D PS1 style, played 4 hours, it’s pretty good so far :)

You see bad graphics. I see artistic decisions guided by technical limitations and possibilities in the medium at the time.
I’ve noticed it let’s me focus on the actually game more rather than overstimulating me with a trillion pieces of animated grass and hair folicles
Something I have learned while playing old games is old graphics is nothing compared to just how games were designed back in the day.
