Slovenia was also one of not many countries that even had the referendum to join NATO. Normally it wasn’t even asked just given to understand that NATO was necessary prerequisite to join EU, just like written in this article.
Anyway i don’t predict that people will vote to leave NATO any soon even given opportunity because it’s deeply ingrained as status quo and something “we just do” plus the current loud warmongering propaganda.
I am counting on legendary Slovenian stinginess to win out.
BTW for those who don’t know, Melania Trump is Slovenian and her son Barron, speaks Slovenian fluently. Barron Trump could also vote in the referendum, being a Slovenian citizen himself. 🤪
