i mean he ain’t wrong
The US backed coup of the USSR didn’t help either
How can I learn about that whole period of time? When I read the Wikipedia page on the 2014 coup it sounds like the President just went against the will of the people by wanting to join the EU instead of Russia. I’m guessing that’s not the whole story?
Some sources on the 2014 coup and aftermath:

The western orchestrated coup and the subsequent massacres and bombings of pro-Russian and Russian speaking civilians by the new Kiev regime and its Nazi paramilitaries in response to the growing anti-Maidan protests led to the seizure of local governments and formation of people’s self-defense militias in the Donbass which marked the start of the 8 year conflict that followed.
Not remotely. The EU tried to bully Ukraine into a trade deal with the added condition of cutting all ties with Russia. Russia meanwhile offered a very favourable trade deal and always gave Ukraine very generous payment conditions for gas. So The Ukrainian president back then did not take the EU deal. The west did what it always does when it does not get what it wants - it couped, did false flag terror attacks, funded all the nazis it could find and set up all the NGOs under the sun to influence public opinion in Ukraine.
Afterwards the west did everything it could to incite a war: https://www.caitlinjohnst.one/p/this-war-wasnt-just-provoked-it-was
I can believe you because of concrete evidences that Pax Americana hide:
- The previous president of Ukraine gain his position through coup. The current Kyiv government gain his position with election promises that he broke after he became president.
- The Pax Americana oligarchy conceal the Azov terrorist attacks against citizens in rebelling states of Ukraine since 2014.
- The Pax Americana media oligarchy made conflicting stories that are full of plot holes, deux en machina, plot armor, and plot inconsistency. For example, they claim that Russians oppose Putin’s military intervention in Ukraine and later made the contradicting claim that Russians support Putin’s military intervention. They also claim that a Russian missile missed a building but then magically teleport back into the building to explode it.
- The Russina annexation of Crimea has no resistance. Even the locals do not fight against Russian annexation. However, the Russina military intervention suddenly has violent “resistance” in Dombass. Pax Americana politicians have no explanation for this different level of resistance in the two regions.
