Confirmed Israel attacked Iran
💠Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, announced that the Israeli government has carried out a preemptive strike against Iran “to eliminate threats against the State of Israel.”
Katz declared a special state of emergency across the country and warned that missile and drone attacks against Israel and its civilian population are expected soon.
Instructions from the Home Front Command must be followed, and people should remain in protected locations.

As usual, remember to include sources and avoid spreading rumours, particularly from imperialist sources.
Neat that marking a comment as mod pins it to the top!
I’d like to add some more guidelines for our own disciplinary growth:
There’s a lot of fog of war in these situations and of course psyops. But more than psyops there are accounts on the web who are only concerned with getting the most clicks on their headlines. This is not new to social media, but it happens a lot there. They don’t even necessarily want to lie (some of them anyway) or do propaganda but they want to be the first to “break news” so sometimes they make things up or report without checking.
One example was the recent hit on an oil rig belonging to saudi arabia - several channels started saying it was hit by an Iranian drone. turns out it was an interception (either botched or successful) that made the drone explode on/near it, so an accident. Or maybe it was, and Saudi Arabia is only saying it was an interception accident to avoid getting dragged into the war. Who knows!
Remember also that wars are not won on one single battle. Modern warfare is slow and grueling, as Russia-Ukraine shows. No country has a single point of failure, they build redundancy so that they can absorb hits. When one cog gets taken down, five redundancies pop up to take its place.
Another tip is that this war could last a few more days or a few more decades. It’s a war and we don’t know what will happen, so if you’re feeling like it’s too much you could, and perhaps should, stop following it. Iran and allies are likely to suffer more casualties than the empire’s army that was built with the stolen riches from all of the world, which might just make it harder to follow for some.
Iran has a plan and from my observations so far seem to be executing it really well though, so a second victory like last year or better is quite possible!
Yes, and it also raises a point about predictions - we rely on what little transpires, we don’t have the satellite data and the numbers available (and even those that have data available on the ground also can’t easily predict what their actions will actually achieve!)
People that make predictions that turn out to be correct had an equally adverse chance of getting it wrong. For this reason it’s good not to get too engaged in world events and stay looking at them in their totality. I support Iran bombing “Tel Aviv”, I support Iran not getting bombed, but outside of that I cannot entirely predict or change the events.
Oh but also practice revolutionary defeatism right now at home if you live in a US-aligned country lol.
