Rulebooks that pertain to court things are hundreds of pages long in a bid to be fair and equitable for everyone. Things are done in a way for a reason, you can’t just yolo justice. At an arraignment, the judge needs to determine a couple things:

• that you are who the person the prosecutor actually brings to justice
• that you know your rights
• that you understand what you are being charged with
• that you understand what are the potential penalties
• what do you plead
• a bunch more stuff

This is to prevent shenanigans

if the first step already takes 30 minutes because you refuse to even give your name, then when you finally ID yourself, you then proceed to constantly interrupt, delay, whinge, contest, refuse to understand, be a living man of morroco, etc, all the way when it’s time to plead and you spend an extra 45 minutes being like “I wish to be left alone” instead of pleading… then yeah. Either the judge takes the time for you to run out of bullshit and the arraingment ends with you arraigned, or they have a full docket and will send you to jail for contempt and try again the next day.

I said “solid chance they might just be a sovcit.”, then had to explain to people what a sovcit is and why they spend stupid amount of time in jail for things nobody should spend time in jail.

She might very well not be a sovcit. I wouldn’t bet on it though. You don’t spend that long in jail over a suspended license unless you do something excessively stupid in the process.

But in all seriousness, there’s no reason to keep them. In prison. Release them from jail and if they don’t show up issue a warrant.

Sovcit are not in jail because of the suspended license, but for the obstruction charges. They then stay in there because legal things take time, and the fact they do everything you shouldn’t be doing if you want to get out of jail.

Time they spent in jail, because they were arrested for obstruction in the first place. When they get released on bond, they violate their bond and don’t show up in court and then get issued a bench warrant and end up in jail.

Sovcits do everything that can be done to end up in jail, and then act shocked when that happens.

There’s nothing that justifies them spending 2 months in jail.

Normal people, when they get arrested by a police officer, provide their ID, take whatever citation, pay the fine, and then move on.

Meanwhile, the typical interaction with a sovtard goes like this

Police officer “Hello sir, we stopped you because you were over the speed limit, and it seems your plates are expired, can you provide me with id, drivers license, proof of insurance?”

Sovtard: <insert nonsense about traveling not in commerce, maritime law, morrocan kings, etc.>

Police officer: “Please provide me with id, drivers license, proof of insurance, so I can give you a citation and we go our merry way”

This goes on and on and on in front of judges the same pattern applies. Challenge jurisdiction every 15 minutes, refuse legal counsel, refuse to plead, ‘I am the living Man’, constantly interrupt the court’s proceedings, fuck up at every corner, waste time with, general incompetence, general stupidity, ‘I am not the allcaps representation of my name’, etc etc

This is why these idiots spend 2+ months in jail over a citation and a ticket. They watched a youtube or tiktok retardfluencer selling them legal nonsense, bought it hook line and sinker. Some even go and surrender their driver’s license if they had any, cancel their insurance, buy “PRIVATE not for commerce” license plates.

I guess we fundamentally disagree on the effectiveness of DEI policies at the workplace.

I will admit I was mistaken, I forgot the quarterly company wide corporate email asking employees to not be openly racist at work.

Truly solving inequalities, one middle manager asking you to sign that you’ve read the email at a time.

The problem isn’t that there isn’t smart women and minorities, they exist. They’re just crushed by the system. DEI won’t solve that. DEI won’t women and minorities the resources to achieve their dreams, DEI won’t give handicapped people access to a better life.

DEI is a bandaid on a festering, maggot filled wound. People slap it on and are like “wow, what a good job”, and it drives me crazy.

Social studies are about worth as much as the paper they’re written on. 60 years ago studies said black people were inferior. In 60 years it’ll be something else. They always match the era they were made in.

The only true solution to inequality is actual action against the cause of inequality, not some feelgood quarterly corporate email asking employees to not be openly racist at work.

DEI is nothing more than an acceptable form of racism.

Hiring people to meet quotas does not make a society better and does nothing to fix the root cause of inequalities.

Free access to quality education, healthcare and funding higher education for the people who can’t afford it is how you fix things for the better. This is the future and good.

DEI is the equivalent of a small band aid over a putrid, gaping wound.

If your area can only survive due to cancerous tourism, then it’s time to move. Tourism not only makes life shit for the residents because of tourists, it also increases living costs for the people. Any income you get from it is immediately lost on everything else.
