Tried it, my device crashes every 2 minutes in. Not worth the effort for now.

Brickardo@feddit.nlto Technology@lemmy.world•European Commission cuts funding support for Free Software projectsEnglish251·1 year agoAs long as public money -> public code, this could potentially be a net positive for stopping predatory AI practices from Microsoft and buddies. Still, taking away funding from other projects could also be catastrophic for everything else.
I was definitely not expecting to see ELO as the very, very first result here but I’m pleasantly surprised.
Much like the other commenter, I’d also add that Eldorado is definitely a strong contender for their best album - arguably for the fact that I’ve never ever listened to an album that came anywhere close to it.
Finally, I’d throw in Discovery + ELO’s side of Xanadu, just for the mere fact that it’s their work featuring not a single weak track, all of them being single worthy and massive hits around the world.
Executives are also trying to use it to eliminate the jobs of artists, and I feel it’s wrong to try and obsolete something people love doing.
Luddism, much?

Yeah I’d be afraid too of Peruvians trying to obliterate their own soil. Well done to the indigenous group for protecting their interests - they surely got there much earlier.

The fact that they are working on releasing Cosmic to other operating systems and how comprehensive the piece of news is (for instance, featuring a section of what’s present and what’s missing at this stage of development) is what may have just sold me into trying it.
I’m afraid basing their distro off TempleOS would be a bit too hard.
