That could be its own interesting question too; I imagine pragmatic case-use will differ with a significant portion of the userbase treating them as likes/dislikes.

Nothing specific but I imagine all the local shops like farmers-markets and thrift stores aren’t terribly reliant on it. (Yet…)

The Grand Apparatus from Brandon Sanderson’s “Cosmere” springs to mind.
Light Cosmere spoiler ↓
The Grand Apparatus is composed of a vast number of rooms all atop and around one another and constantly in motion. [ ] If a denizen needs or wants a room with a particular function such as a bedroom or bathroom, they can make a request to the Apparatus itself and the appropriate room will be brought to adjoin the one currently occupied. Because of the Apparatus’ nature, access to sunlight is infrequent and is only accessed by requesting a room with windows which is moved to the structure’s perimeter upon transferring. Personal possessions are kept in trunks which are moved along with each resident as they transfer from room to room. Because all rooms are shared, there is no concept of ownership of space.

Good sex can keep a relationship going for longer than it should, but it won’t be indefinite no matter how orgasmic.

/agree, probably the closest answer to my mindset so far. (And I do love me some old school forums. RIP Portent and Waryammer.)

There are certainly times I’d rather have 50 comments and 5 upvotes than 50 upvotes and 5 comments.

I think the female versions of my name sound terrible, so, no on that front.
In general not a thought I’ve had aside from that. I’ve always felt comfortable with my gender/sexual orientation.
(*note some of these were Let’s Play’s I watched instead of played as combat mechanics like Clair/Wukong don’t interest me.)
I also spent a lot of time with an old friend, Heroes of Might and Magic V, Tribes of the East.
Edit/PS: Have to include Tactical Breach Wizards. Hilarious and very different take on the “Xcom-esque” genre. Great characterization and story. Requires a very different style of thinking to master it.

This is what I came to say if it wasn’t already.
Replace both leads with a couple that has chemistry but retains that slightly antagonistic spark and it would’ve made a good movie. I don’t even have an alternate casting, just, “not them.”
Are there gonna be 3 levels now? (Real time battle, planetary overworld, space over-overworld)?
Presumably? There might even be a fourth layer if they go battle/planet/system/interstellar.
Are the space marines gonna march in a phalanx formation?
I doubt it. Round bases man, squares are for fantasy!
But really, I assume they’ll be in a skirmish formation.
Facing is only supposed to matter to vehicles and armour, IIRC.
Which space marine is gonna be the princess?
I am! (Actually I love my 'nids so really I’d be a queen.)
My body is ready, my laptop isn’t.

I started a Let’s Play of that and liked it so much I quit early on and now it’s on a (lengthy) backlist of games I want to actually play. It looks really fun and I love the aesthetic.

Watched it near release, loved it. +1
Never been to therapy myself but just saying good luck to you. Curious to see the responses here myself. Been in a seriously depressed state for the past six years, but in the last two months taken huge steps to get out of it.
Still dunno if I’ll give therapy a shot, but there’s been improvement on my own front which ain’t nothin’.
