Ya, the ending of that movie was a big disappointment to me.
If you weren’t interested in computer science, going to college for it probably would have been a mistake. It sounds like your mistake was not finding your career niche early enough.

Their marching was poor because there is almost no practical reason why anyone in today’s Army should ever need to march. The vast majority of service people do very little marching after basic training.
I can sew, although I kind of hate it. Sewing is an essential skill if you own a sailboat and have no money.
What everyone in the US should do RIGHT NOW is get all the currently recommended vaccines for their age group and health conditions. There is a high probability that they will either become unavailable or not covered by insurance in the near future.
No kidding, do it now, and see that your family members do the same.
I’ve been using the same coffee cup almost every day for the last 50+ years.

The writer of the article is treating child rearing as if it requires PhD level child psychology. It doesn’t.
A child’s behavior is almost always ok if it is safe, non-destructive, legal, and NOT OFFENSIVE TO OTHER PEOPLE IN THE SAME SPACE.
