This account is mostly for shitposting. Don’t take anything it says too seriously.

My notifications stay off because I don’t play chess with pigeons. Get mad.

All my OC is created with MS Paint (not Paint 3D). I know how to use “real” photo editing software, but I still prefer Paint for memes; I enjoy how its technical limitations add a problem solving element to the creative process.

I despise ads in nearly all forms. My art aims to offer the viewer a glimpse into how I perceive them. Colors are often inverted because inverted colors are often perceived as being “ugly” and “harsh” and I think all ads are ugly and harsh-looking.

I try not to spend more than 20-30 minutes on any one piece because I think spending any more time than that indicates a certain level of respect for the original source material I don’t wish to convey, and I want my art to have a certain “vandalism” or “graffiti” vibe to it.

  • I have adblockers, encrypted DNS, a hardened browser, and a pi hole, so I don’t see many ads.

Because I mod fps games, I’m constantly researching firearms, ammunition, and armor, so my algorithm pushes chud shit at me like Garand Thumb and a bunch of those bearded loud mouths with tattoos and a bad attitude who like to yell ignorant and inflammatory opinions. Honestly, I get the vibe those channels exist mostly to convince people to buy shit.

Since I work on my own car, I also research cars a lot, so I get recommend those channels. Some of them I ended up liking.

My algorithm must think I’m an old single man with money and a non-working dick because (the very few times I do see ads) I get ads for boner pills, hot MILFs in my area, and gambling sites.

  • In the US, almost anyone can walk to the end of their driveway (or some other, similarly close location) and put an envelope in a box. In a matter of days, that envelope can be in any other box at the end of anyone else’s driveway in the US, for less than the cost of a bottle of water.

Most US Americans have no idea how good they have it with the USPS.

Similarly, the investigative arm of the Post Office, the USPIS, is arguably the most powerful agency of the US government, as there are virtually no laws limiting their authority to investigate.

  • That’s why I said “most cops”. Training requirements vary wildly from state-to-state, county-to-county, sometimes even department-to-department.

The three biggest cities in the US are Chicago, New York, and LA. Chicago is once a year, New York is twice, LA is four times a year, but only one has to be with duty ammo, the rest are with practice ammo.

I’ve heard of quarterly qualifying for SWAT officers or those on task forces that apprehend high-risk fugitives. But, for the most part, your standard beat cop or highway trooper is gonna be once a year.

It may shock you learn this, but, despite what the media portrays, cops in big cities spend 99% of their time doing rather mundane things like traffic enforcement, domestic disputes, and event security.

  • It’s slowly becoming more known. The indoor ranges in my area have started installing ventilation systems, banning pregnant women from entry, providing lead-removing soap in the bathrooms, encouraging people to use it, and posting signs about it in the bathrooms.

But still, many people either don’t know or, even worse, know and don’t care because “I ain’t no sissy” or whatever.

Most effects of lead exposure are reversible with time though.

I think an even bigger problem that even more people don’t think about is the fact that leaded gasoline is still used in airplane fuel (avgas). If you fly for a hobby or live under a flight path, you very likely have more lead in your blood than the most avid of shooters.

  • She lived on the farm, but she didn’t work it; that’s what the male children were for. Her “place” was in the house.

She told me she would ask sometimes, but all anybody would ever tell her was some variation of, “Birds fly. Fish swim. Women have babies. That’s just what they do/That’s just the way it is.”

She finally found out from her doctor while discussing her hysterectomy, but only after confirming her husband was already dead.
