You would need to read Losurdo’s book on liberalism to understand the inherent exclusionary clause of liberalism, which is the dominant ideology of the West. It infects materialist thinking, including yours and mine. It’s something you have to consciously fight on a daily basis.

Your deterministic worldview makes everything permissible on the grounds of “material interests.” But it’s exactly like liberalism since it always comes with an exclusionary clause.
