I think toxic podcasts have a big influence on young men, especially those who grew up without strong father figures. My own dad wasn’t perfect (I joke a bit about it on my profile), and many of us went through that risky “2015 phase” of consuming unhealthy online content.

What many politicians and advocates on the left often overlook is that toxic masculinity isn’t solved by telling men to be “less masculine.” You can actually counter unhealthy masculinity with healthy masculinity. When society pushes these men aside or dismisses them, some end up looking for someone to blame. That’s when you get people saying, “Women are the reason my life is hard,” or “Jews control everything.”

Of course, some people are genuinely racist or sexist, and there will always be trolls who just want attention. But why do those trolls exist in the first place? Often it’s because they feel insignificant, and attaching themselves to extreme movements gives them a sense of identity and purpose they don’t have otherwise.

Very well said, I’m glad y’all upvoted and appreciated my review, and yeah it’s one of those could have been’s, the disappointment also came from the fact that I didn’t really enjoy Fallout 4’s quest and dialogue structure that I thought Cyberpunk would have so much more, and while it does in a sense it’s just background stuff.

“Microsoft Says Copilot” is like a Two Sentence horror story for me now.

I would say that the hype got the better of me, but back then even though I wasn’t a fan of CD Project RED I knew that they were close to Rockstar in levels of quality, however I always had a bad feeling with the delays and how much they felt they needed to show from the game, I remember they were doing a LOT of livestreams back then.

Eitherway I enjoyed my stay too, It’s just the “What could have been” kills me on the inside.

I’ve also not followed anything on the gaming side, I heard it’s way better than what it once was but still with windows I guess, I know I can just run anything I want and work with.

I also kind of wish Windows wasn’t hell bent on making poor decisions, I don’t know how they didn’t start charging us with every version of Windows, I still got my Windows 8.1 key which I used until now, so that’s the only “okay” thing about them.

I guess, I won’t do the classic “haha you have to run console to install an app” meme because I know there are distros that cater to Windows users like myself, the problem I find is that most software I’d want to use wouldn’t be supported like video editing and stuff I care about, I’m glad to see Linux rise because only then Microsoft will learn, but also there’s not a BIG issue that’s keeping me away from using Windows for now.

It might change who knows.
