Its expensive bc raspberry pi has to have a single ram chip. The 16gb model is way overkill for most tasks that you should be using a pi for. If you need it you need, it’s probably for business reasons and you’re not super price sensitive.

I think you’re speaking in general and not about this specific case. This is an unauthenticated remote code exploit. All that needs to happen is your website accepts a brotli from a client or from an external api and tries to read it.
