Owner of a lonely horse…
Real lyric: owner of a lonely heart.
I never understood why there’d be a song about a lonely horse.

Marijuana, a nice light beer, some carne asada tacos on nice flour tortillas. As for the stereo, I’m not sure. That would largely depend on my mood that particular day. I suppose Pink Floyd would be the way to go though. Wish you were here. Maybe? Dark side of the Moon is always a good place to go too.
My. Dew but I really don’t drink soda anymore. When I did it was my absolute favorite and I would drink it very often.
Yes exactly. What you’re describing is cardinality. For example the number of natural numbers (counting numbers) is a smaller infinity than the number of real numbers (rational numbers + irrational numbers).
This can be proven rigorously.
I basically left reddit when they banned 3rd party apps. If the reddit app didn’t suck, I may not have left - but it’s horrid. So I left.
I found kbin, but then it died, and then I found lemmy. So here I am.
I don’t think it does. At least in mathematical sense… Something can be infinite and growing. But it’s been a long time since school so I may be off with my language.
For me, it’s the best place for quick sports updates. Many writers have moved to bluesky, but many more have not. Sports Twitter is the sole reason I use it.
You’re probably right. The last time I saw Firefly get brought up, there were many comments of people just shitting on it.
I live in one of the hottest areas in the US and I still find ways to get outside.
Is it too harsh to say to outside and interact with people?
I couldn’t help myself:p
Only the LoTR books. In the earlier time periods they’re very much a tool of the “good guys” to communicate.
I suppose it would depend on what I get out of it.
I really liked the palm pre. Fit well in the band and the slide out keyboard was awesome.
Links to tech news complaining about the tech. It’s a sludge.
The Lord of The Rings. This book changed reading for me. I always enjoyed fantastical themes, but this one really got me. Then, I found out there was more. More background, more world building, more why.
I’ve never turned back. I re read it occasionally and I’ve read much of Tolkien’s other works. Next on the list is to begin working through The History of Middle Earth. I will be starting this in the fall. It may take me quite some time to get through.
It’s just as bad of an echo chamber as other sites. I have to actively “stop” browsing lemmy after a bit because I get annoyed at the repetitive nature of everything.
I’ve very much tried in the last few years to limit social media. I think it’s been a benefit for me. I like social media, but having “stops” makes it more enjoyable and prevents the doom feelings.
Fair. Check this out. The existing stuff is pretty cool https://youtu.be/CP3t8qMHcsM
I think I like these movies because I’m also juvenile and pretentious.
It’s really funny here. There already exists software that does this stuff. It’s existed for quite a while. I personally know a software engineer that works at a company that creates this stuff. It’s sold to insurance companies. Hertz version must just totally suck.
