MX vs ATV Unleased is a classic. Great racing game.

ATV Offroad Fury 2 is fantastic, but hard to emulate.

I’m done. This will be my last month of GamePass. The value just isn’t there for me anymore. I don’t play enough games to justify the new price. The few games I do play I’m going to pick up used on ebay and just go that route. I’ll stick with my PC and my Xbox will slowly wither into a media center because Microsoft wants to squeeze blood from a stone with their customers.

Spent a trillion dollars buying Activision Blizzard, laid off a ton of employees and killed studios, two price hikes on the console that is 3 or 4 years old, and now a GamePass price hike.

No. I’m done. Fuck that. There’s nothing I can do about everything else getting more expensive like groceries and gas. But this? I can absolutely do something about this.

Edit: Oh, I forgot about them killing the rewards program too. Just murdering any type of value prospect for those of us who don’t want to spend every dime we have on entertainment. It’s difficult not to extrapolate the U.S’s current trajectory to something approximating Taliban-rule. It feels like it relative to what the old-normal was.

I always said that nothing will change until someone prominent on the right gets shot. I was actually talking about their children in a school shooting in regards to tighter gun laws. Thousands of kids, a bunch of church-goers, and some Democratic lawmakers get shot and it’s no big deal. But one prominent right-wing talking head gets shot and now it’s real to them. This will be the impetus for major change, but not the change any of us wanted.

I hope I’m wrong, but I feel like things are about to get a whole lot worse than they were the last 8 months.
