Why would Putin accept a ceasefire? He might as well keep pushing until he wins.

But now (for various reasons) they’re out of the picture, I think Trump 47, literally has no true plan nor ideology, he just wants to do whatever allows him to score victories.
He’s a “conservative” only by virtue of being both a billionaire and a sexist bigot, but he isn’t ideologically invested. He just wants to feed his legendary ego, that’s it.

This isn’t what the Modi regime had hoped for.

I’m paraphrasing but Angela Merkel was asked why she supports sanctions on Russia for “invading” Crimea even though the US does it all the time… and she responded something like, “We know the Americans are bad but they never do anything to us.”

ℝ𝔼𝔻 ℂ𝕆𝕃𝕆𝕊𝕊𝕌𝕊@lemmygrad.mltoGeopolitics@lemmygrad.ml•Can Donald Trump really end the Ukraine war?5·5 months agoTrump doesn’t want to end the war in Ukraine so much that he’s trying, and it’s so obvious everyone can see it, to ally with Russia against China. But Putin isn’t dumb enough to fall for that, Trump is inherently an imperialist and so won’t agree to a circumstances which will hurt the American Empire. Therefore, it’s likely that all of the negotiations are going to flounder out.
But I will show revolutionary optimism.

The PRC is not oil-rich in the same way Russia and the US are, so they import most of their oil via tankers from West Asia/North Africa (commonly known as the Middle East) and there are two potential chokepoints, the Straight of Hormuz in Djibouti (probably RIGHT NOW the biggest weak point, so much that both China and the US have military bases there that are practically in front of each other) and the South China Sea, which contains a bunch of faithful bootlicking nations such as Singapore and Australia.
China is working on several pipeline projects, but I am certain that the US is doing everything possible to stop it.
What? That pikachu thing? Like Detective Pikachu I think?
