4·12 days agoI’m having second thoughts on Alltrails as well, I started getting very suspicious of them when they started getting rid of their general features but want their users to pay more money, for the same experience. I also noticed that too, with the bugginess. Now the miles most of time for me not being recorded properly. With setting up CoMaps, I really hope I can use it as an alternative.

1·17 days agoTheir wording of that is so confusing. Did they get sick during the 14 days before traveling, but showed no symptoms? Did they show symptoms but still traveled anyway, or after the 14 days they came back and were fine but later got sick. CDC is not being specific but all of those questions should be getting answered and their statement of that is very vague.
That is where the confusion always go towards and to me, it sounds like they automatically are assuming that this is coming from overseas, whihc is very bias.

2·17 days agoAlready it looks like CDC is skewing the data, or this is only the lab tested results.

1·18 days agoCDC was also mentioned about 440 others from out of the country, that got sick from whatever they consumed that was during the lag period of testing? (If im understanding that correctly) problem is, we’re they all eating lettuce? Where did they traveled to, who and what they were in contact with? Haven’t seen any reports on those who were went out lf the country and came back sick.

5·18 days agoIts like that other lettuce outbreak we had years ago, but it was with Ecoli. I remember them removing all of it from the stores when that year hit, it was bad. this time, absolutely nothing go on. Its weird.

1·18 days agoVery good point. Well for instagram, I only go on there to post on my account and do very little scrolling and that’s it, im off my phone. I’ll be there to just post on my account when I find something suitable. I’ve been pushing myself away from all this media unless its like trustworthy news

2·18 days agoLike Google unfortunately uses RCS and everyone i know uses RCS because either they have apple or are using Google messages with RCS. So if I was to go to Signal for example, would my chats transfer over or would I have to start over because RCS is not used?

3·19 days agoall information currently about this outbreak has that timeline from 7 days - 2weeks and they are all are saying the same information. CDCs data was updated 4 days ago, with data tracking as from July 9, which is almost a week ago. There is a 6 week reporting lag when recording this data, due to symptoms of this Cyclospora appreaching 2 days to more than 2 weeks when somwone gets sick. So no, 2 weeks is not outdated data, it is still relevant until something changes.

2·19 days agoIt always has to do with cow manure. Cow manure is used as fertilizer, but the problem is not the cows, its the quality control and sanitation techniques. While harvesting, during the packing process within the factories (who knows how well those are kept clean) and then during shipping. Quality control went down dramatically after covid (it wasn’t that great to begin with) and that’s why we have been seeing an increase in food born illnesses.
