I don’t recall there being permanent move speed increases at all, but it has been some time since I played. I think there second island was relatively new when I last plagued. Is that something that was added, or something I missed when I played before?
Those tankies are out there. They can’t be bargained with, they can’t be reasoned with, they don’t feel pity, or remorse, or boredom, and they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are annoyed.

I worked for a company once that sent out an email announcing layoffs and record profits in the same message. I was amazed at the audacity.
Only a fool would trust Putin to honor a cease fire, so even if it’s true and is honored, no Ukrainian is going to be able to relax. Meaningless gesture backed by a history of breaking such agreements.
I honestly assumed they weren’t making any more of those shit boxes already.

It’s wild how comfortable the capital class has gotten with discounting the lives of the workers whose necks they stand on to live their lives of luxury. They used to at least pretend to care. They didn’t, but they knew they had to pay lip service to it.
In most online spaces if you advocated for the changes to their lives they openly work for every day to implement on us in order to squeeze an extra penny out of our lives, you’d risk a ban.
I genuinely don’t understand the complacency, or why the social contract is so manipulable by euphemism. They might as well be stabbing us, but it is apparently okay to do so as long as they don’t call it that.
