81·1 month agoMorphine was renamed to “Med X” for the international release because of their ineptude for context. They even removed the Alien probing sequence in the AU versions of SP: Stick of Truth.

1·1 month agoWater Temple in the original game sucks ass, since it involves playing the ocarina a lot to constantly change water depth (there were no clear markers in the N64 version, but in the 3DS one they added them.
From what I saw on the extended gameplay, they retained that feature into this remake, so that’s helpful for navigation). Don’t even talk about equipping the iron boots a lot in that dungeon from the N64 original.
For Japanese at least, there’s 訓読み & 音読み in which the Kunyomi reading is the native Japanese way of pronouncing the Kanji while Onyomi is the pronunciation derivative from Mandarin, i.e. 戦う for “to fight” is read as たたかう via Kunyomi while 戦争 (“war”) is read as せんそう bearing the Onyomi reading.
