I’m not sure if I should be relating this hard but here we are…

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Patient gamers, what are your favorite OSTs?
2·1 year agoWe’re on the same page as far as Mirrors EdgeI The Sims and SC3 goes, so I’ll trust your taste and listen to the other ones aswell. I’d want to add Portal 2 and Team Fortress 2 aswell.

Doing the Lords work, thanks a bunch!
Interesting that you pick GOG and Itch as examples, because I have all my gemes from these platforms available Through Lutris in a central interface. And it works well because Lutris can, provided my login info, just download and install the games without needing any extra services.

1·1 year agoI’ve started Celeste last week and damn that game get difficult quick (at least if you try to get all the strawberries^^). Also the Pico8 version is a whole other beast o.O
Also the usual TF2 for me, which now miraculously works on Linux again…

So, I looked up the term on Wikipedia. It sais: “An Internet meme, or meme ([/miːm/], [MEEM]), is a cultural item (such as an idea, behavior, or style) that spreads across the Internet, primarily through social media platforms]. Internet memes manifest in a variety of formats, including images, videos, GIFs], and other viral content. Key characteristics of memes include their tendency to be parodied, their use of intertextuality, their viral dissemination, and their continual evolution. The term meme was originally introduced by Richard Dawkins in 1972 to describe the concept of cultural transmission.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_meme
I’ll let you be the judge of whether this fits that definition or not. (And whether it’s worth your time arguing about something being a meme).
