How is destroying millions of books not wasting them? Use your goddamn brain you troll.

The resources were wasted by everyone involved. Stop defending this bullshit.

I didn’t say words were sacred, but destroying millions of books is a colossal waste of resources. This is not totally fine.

That much was absolutely is something to get worked up about. Just because it happens more than people realize, that doesn’t make it okay.
Give me the 2027 list, I’ve been done with these for years. 😂
Bill Gates hasn’t been CEO of Microsoft in 26 years. Not that there aren’t plenty of reasons to boycot Microsoft.

This, fuck Nintendo. Its disappointing to see so many people have zero respect for themselves.

I 100% believe that’s the end game and anyone not preparing for or fighting to stop that inevitability is asleep.

What a roller coaster, especially because I have no idea who these people are.
I’ve really only ever played the GB version with various hacks. The Rosy Retrospective DX hack is pretty dope.

Should have kept it a secret and let them bury themselves.

Nobody said steam was better because of their EULA, so calling Steam out for something every developer on the planet does is what’s hypocritical.

I don’t think blaming Steam for society’s ills is a valid response.

Steam doesn’t require DRM to publish on their platform.

Developers place DRM, that’s not s requirement of Steam publishing. Also, 99% of digital stores state you’re only buying a license. That’s a problem with modern society, not Steam.

You’re moving the goalpost, have a nice day.

Its an effective monopoly, that’s not really disputable. This lawsuit isn’t even about them having a monopoly, its about them allegedly abusing it.

Except your original comment said nothing about the power it had against brick and morter, you said several of the games listed were old enough that steam was in its infancy and not the defacto storefront when they came out. The only one that came out when Steam was in its infancy was Roblox, and as for the rest, if there’s no other storefronts around to speak of, then its the defacto storefront.

Walmart didn’t let local stores go out of business, it deliberately undercut local stores in order to drive them out if business.
People who are okay with this are absolutely disgusting. Some shitty AI company wastes a fuckton of our collective resources resources to build and run their AI data centers, and if that wasn’t bad enough they generate a fuckton of unnecessary waste to train the goddamn thing. Fuck capitalism.
