Wow it’s making sense now. I casually read the links threads and the China section usually has some “china bad” or “china gonna collapse” garbage. Also the smugness of her comment replies.

I found Prashad’s actual writing, which the guardian chose not to link: https://www.counterpunch.org/2026/02/03/on-the-emails-between-jeffrey-epstein-and-noam-chomsky/

They will be the last to attain class consciousness

Im really enjoying your blog–thanks for the analysis and sharing.
Just curious, how did you read and digest a 700 page pdf?

I’m amazed a reasonable china take appears in the NYT, even more amazed that the comments are mostly not racist/ignorant.
Classic meme format gets new life.
That article was deeply annoying. Why do we need to pad out an article fundamentally concerned with geopolitics with a bunch of celebrity expose fluff about how the lame Finnish president likes going for runs and grew up bilingual (that’s gotta be at least half of Finnish families btw). Unserious nyt-style tripe. Also I like how his main criticism of the u.s. is lamenting the American clowns de-sanctioning Russia, not waging wars of aggression. I don’t know anything about the Finnish president but according to this article he seems like the kind of loser I would expect to be in charge of that country.
