Follow up question: why doesn’t this already happen with liberal news channels then and semi serious questions (as opposed to conservative soft balls)

I would like to say plot wise it has very little to do with jrpgs. Those often feel a little cookie cutter to me while this story is very fresh
Ok but I did lol at pulling of a complete submersion. Also, it’s a little funny that they seem to know at some level that this ideology will piss off their wives/gf (as they wrote), but still advocate doing it. I guess all their wives and gfs must be woke? Or maybe women are too woke and therefore they never had wives and gfs to begin with?
The sentiment here is obviously terrible but at least there can be a laugh at how stupid it is. I mean…its so full of typos how could you ever think this person is trustworthy
I understand that fairly well, and totally get it. The us should never have had the power and influence it had before all this, and it’s long overdue for other countries to be more mistrustful based on how deeply broken and unstable the country has been even before trump.
I think it’s important to understand that setting the country on fire as you point out is not quite as simple here though. For starters the country is enormous and most people are destitute with limited means of transportation, even getting to their states capital building for example is outside the realm of possibility. Then consider our laws are so backwards in many states anyone who, for example, is peacefully protesting but obstructing a roadway can legally be run over and murdered. And that every trump supporter (1/3 of the county, appx) has a dozen assault rifles at home that they would love to use on anyone who dares complain about their lord and Savior.
None of this is to say that protests aren’t possible or the country shouldn’t be on fire. Several million of us marched a couple weeks back for example. More violent protests are coming but would be suicide without strong organization, and even with it is very likely to have an enormous death toll. One that many of us will still be willing to pay, once it can be as impactful as possible.
In a much broader sense, though, I would like to say I don’t believe it is justified to blame EVERY citizen for the actions of their leadership, especially in “democracies” as deeply broken as the US. I don’t hate every Russian because I don’t believe the all hate Ukraine and love Putin. I don’t hate every Israeli since many of them still don’t support genocide and are unable to stop their leaders from being warmongers. I don’t hate every German who lived through Hitler since many didn’t want that either. Hate the people in charge, hate the people who support them and helped them get in charge, but support the victims of those people. Collective punishment and the notion that EVERYONE in a country should pay for the actions of its leadership is still a war crime and ignores the people who do everything they can to stop it, even when it doesn’t work (yet)
Most of us don’t want this shit either. Definitely fuck trump but many US citizens are the victims of a deeply fucked system and doing everything we can to fix things
I had a great time with the demo
I went full Nigel. No shame
I would love some advice, personally. How big of an issue is this really? Like…do I really have to care if there aren’t system updates anymore? How big of a security risk is it actually?
I’ll take that pledge without even visiting your country! Then again when I do!
Seriously though, this regime is terrible and some of us are protesting every opportunity we can get. I’ll be the first to admit America has deeply rooted problems but some of us are trying to fix it and would like to not be treated like shit for the actions of the magats
High stakes dance off. I never stood a chance against the wiley crustacean
Beat me to it. First thing I thought reading this list.
The big assumption here is that the website had time or money invested in it. I feel like the vast majority of websites these days are just ai garbage with enough ads to prevent you from even reading the thing and give your computer herpies as a bonus. The era of good faith advertising where the ads were reasonable and balanced with the quality of content is long gone. Most sites are now explicitly designed for exploitive data harvesting and endless ad delivery.
Of course, some websites are exceptions to this and adblock can easily be toggled off for those websites if you really want to support them. Taking off protections for a trusted partner though is quite different from raw dogging the whole internet
Idk still a pretty good band name lol
I also reported it as hostile and inappropriate. I am sure Google will do fuck all with that report but I enjoy being petty sometimes
Adding to this windows attempts to end all support for windows 10, obsoleting a large number of computers later this year. I never thought I’d say this but Linux has never looked better…
I don’t think it makes me feel better to know that our descent into fascism is because gru promised 1MM rizz for it
This is by far the best and most informative answer. The only thing it’s missing as another couple commenters pointed out is hexbear is all about their oversized memes and emojis, making anytime you happen upon one of their posts extremely conspicuous (even if politics aren’t being discussed).
You monster. The blood of the Easter bunny’s victims is on your hands now
Ya know what? Forget the ai criteria let’s just have this for all billionaires
