I guess most people still operate on the default democratic process, hoping and expecting checks and balances to finally take effect. The real problem is NOT the people. The real problem is that the republican party and therefore the whole legislative branch (as well as SCOTUS) has been hijacked and corrupted, to the point where they just let him do whatever he wants. The system only works when the people in their respective position to represent the will of the people actually do so. It is not the people’s responsibility to come up with solutions. It’s the representatives responsibility and DUTY to which they have all SWORN to protect, enforce and abide by the constitutionally laid out ground rules. But now, they just follow Trump and make sure nobody steps out of line.

The next constitutional update should include some personal responsibility and liability for those who refuse to honour their oath. The way I see it, this is something like treason.

Interesting case. I think it’s hard to call with the little facts on hand. There seems to be at least some level of neglect. I wonder, though, did she not have a phone? Was there no reception, or why did she not call or signal for help herself? If there was no reception, what else could he have done? Were there other ways to make it through the night? Those details will have to be evaluated in court.

I pay enough taxes where I live, so I wouldn’t have to pay any more, only do the declaration. However, I really hate paper work and don’t plan on ever going back. Soo, no. If they want me, they need to come and get me. As I see it, we’re already split. Making it official would be to costly and not worth it. I just renounced my citizenship mentally - you know, like Trump. Since there is no rule of law anymore anyway, this is just as valid.

Take it, please. I’ve been looking for a “get out of citizenship free” card. This would be a dream come true. I’d finally have a free slot to get dual citizenship somewhere nice. Maybe even somewhere with less fascist pedos in charge.
