What likely leads to greater exposure is how many cars there were by the 70s and 80s. But lead exposure is cumulative over a lifetime. So I would be curious to see that research, as Boomers had roughly 40 years of exposure from 1950s to 1994. Gen X wouldn’t have that much by decades.

As someone that almost drown in a ripcurrent off of Ghana and Sao Tome very sober both times, it can happen very quickly, and you need help before you even understand what’s happening. I re-watched a few episodes recently. I agree that it’s simply not going to resonate with anyone younger than a Millennial. There was a lot of cultural context and subtexts that made sense at the time that will absolutely be lost on Zoomers.
