I’m not a fan of getting updates every single day, sometimes breaking little things. I prefer less frequent homogeneous and tested releases.
It’s funny because I see the same cult behavior, but for Fedora. I’ve never understood the point of this distribution that has never worked well for me.
I’m on Manjaro by the way, because I love everything about Arch except the release style.
Europe’s largest cloud and hosting provider
It’s the first time I’m hearing about IONOS. Are they really larger than OVH?
Using YunoHost saves a lot of hassles
Yes, but what’s the point? Nobody listens to France anyway, we are irrelevant. The only way to push our ideas is if somehow the EU embrace them.
And then we’ve got our own issues (doing nothing climate-related, lack of financing for science, nazi ideas getting popular, etc…).
To be fair, watching random YouTube videos can be demotivating. A transcript would be much nicer.
Why are edibles illegal if smoking is legal?
I thought edibles were far healthier (and they don’t smell awful), am I mistaken?
Here in France they drive at 70km/h in a 90km/h road. They also drive at 70 in a 70 road. And 70 in a 50 road. And 70 in a 30 road…
I gave up on eReaders after 2 bad experiences with Kindles. I still have the last one I bought but it keeps on rebooting after a couple of minutes and couldn’t find a way to fix it.
I had a look recently and they’re all 180€+ now. Back to real books then.
I hate to tell you that because I appreciate your post, but it doesn’t fit in /c/technology
An alternative is to rely on Yunohost where installing/upgrading Nextcloud is a matter of 2 clicks: https://yunohost.org/
All ancient phones unfortunately
I have automatic upgrades on my non-rooted phone. I use droidify but i’m pretty sure the official F-droid client works the same way.
I’ve tried writing a resume last month and prepare a presentation (Writer and Impress). And I was very frustrated by crashes and lack of features. The interface is quite good, more intuitive than the MS equivalents.
However, OnlyOffice was really nice to use.
No trouble, don’t worry. Thanks for the added source
You seem to be referring to this paragraph:
Regional experts at the Sibylline strategic risk group said there was “a realistic possibility that the explosion is a result of sabotage by a state actor,” though they did not specify Israel by name.
Who are those experts? Are they quoted in a more reliable source than the Daily Express? This publication is an absolute disgrace, they have lied and lied and lied agaim for decades, for example with Brexit. This article, unless corroborated by another source should be ignored completely.
Are we really posting Daily Express articles here?
I really wish I could recommend Libreoffice but I have mixed experiences with it. Spreadsheet is really good, I can only praise it. Writer is fine for basic documents but I gave up updating my CV with it - too frustrating. Impress is so far from PowerPoint that I recommend finding an alternative.
I started using Manjaro in 2018. I can’t remember any significant break.
