Oh god, quesadillas for breakfast one day, baked beans the next, and ful another. Three different types of bread, and like at least four different types of beans. 😍

With ethical and moral considerations, there is no reason to push this when there are alternatives with much better starting blocks.

However, I think kill switches for at least microphone and camera should be the new default. It’s absolutely ridiculous to walk around with an internet connected mic and a camera that looks at your face whenever you look at your phone. Personally, I’ll never carry a phone around anymore that doesn’t have mics and cameras desoldered or there’s a kill switch. For the back camera a cover with a slide is fine, but doesn’t really work with the front part.
The transition in Nazi Germany from shooting to gassing happened partly because of the effect it has on the psyche of the perpetrators.

“The historian Christian Ingrao notes an attempt was made to make the shootings a collective act without individual responsibility. Framing the shootings in this way was not psychologically sufficient for every perpetrator to feel absolved of guilt.”This isn’t the best evidence, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find, if wants to look more deeply into it.
