I use Kubuntu. It is defintly not the best Distro. I am just used to it and too lazy to get used to another distro. My days as a distro jumper lie 15 years back…
Tbh though, I might switch to Debian stable whenever Trixie comes out.

We have 6 parties in our german parliament, from pretty left to extreme right. 75% of the population want to stop arms deliveries to Israel (only 17% want it to continue). Guess what is happening.
Lol, people should stop thinking that intelligence agencies are all powerful. They fumble and fuck up stuff all the time.
That said, the current Israeli government under the current political situation might very well arrange this basically as a public execution, knowing that western media will present it in the right light for them.
Head of department is middle management. Middle management is certainly the most vulnerable position in situations like this.
The top manager got a nice compensation and very high pension (according to German media ~€1.3 million per year), while the owners (Piech/Porsche family) still earn billions every year.
Kubuntu is just really well polished. It works really well and stable nowadays. Only downside is snap.
Also have a look at Linux MX. Also very well polished and some really good tools.
They said “No one, but Dutch people”, but this is very common in Germany.
Charging a battery like that at home would be way too dangerous. Even charging an e-bike or e-scooter battery should be done with care and not overnight, when you are sleeping.
I also park on the street (or to be precise, my wife does, I take the bus) and have the same problem. Guess our next car will be just a regular hybrid, maybe a plug-in hybrid. An EV is just not an option atm for anyone unable to charge at home. Maybe if the municipalities would finally start to really invest into the infrastructure…
Fedora or Ubuntu. But I’d say the important part is that they probably provide all necessary drivers.
Also darktable, rawtherapee, DigiKam and Krita. Not sure if those are suited to professional work, but for amateurs they are more than enough.
I remember when the steam machines where first announced and how excited I was. I am still excited. :)
Googled him and found this picture of him and his big brother. I have the feeling he might not have been his parents favourite? https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Camus#/media/Datei:Albert_Camus_et_son_frère_ainé_Lucien_vers_1920.jpg
Many things are possible with both products. But Kritas focus is on drawing/paiting and animation, meanwhile GIMPs focus is photo edititing.
Just try them out. I really love both.
As someone who self-identifies as an old fart: Do that, but don’t forget to live a little. You’ll regret it otherwise.
But if they were doing Asahi Linux for fun as a hobby, and if it isn’t fun anymore for a variety of reasons, then you really can’t blame them.
I have 0 knowledge about this project, so my statement here is just a general statement.
But if a developer collects donations for promising something, then this is not just “for fun”, but they do have a moral obligation to try doing a good job.
It seems they overfullfilled their obligations (but all I know about it, are the words of the developer). So, as said above, this is a general statement.
edit: lol you guys are funny, but maybe read my comment. I talked about “doing his best” and about “things they promised”. You really think it is okay to say “I will try project A, I need donations” and then go on a holiday with the donated money and do nothing else? Do you thing this attitude will get people to donate anything?

Is it fair to say that Ayn Rand’s philosophy is basically ruling our lives?
Used to do that when I was working in science. I also kinda loved it. Just interesting to intimately experience how people thought back in the 80s. There are surprisingly many Fortran 77 libraries still in use today (they can be called from modern Fortran code).
Are you 100% sure there is no physical card? Did you ask the local provider? I just ask, because I have a physical card for the Deutschland Ticket.
Other than that there is a Deutschland Ticket app. But it won’t work for every provider. It does not for mine.
