EU has become complacent and are now paying the price for it. They need to take the lead and not depend on USA because the US is not a reliable partner. The US will only get involved if it is in their interest.

I think it is high time that Europe stopped depending on the USA to defend them. They need to take charge of their own defence and intelligence gathering. This US Administration is totally self-centered and doesn’t care for international commitments.
