I would have to say EES (Engineering Equation Solver), as I’m a thermal engineer. Or potentially MATLAB with the CoolProp installed. They are quite brilliant tools, not to mention fun to work with!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What Youtube channel has maintained high quality standards over the years?
5·1 month agoI feel like Ethoslab deserves a mention. He’s basically making the exact same great fun Minecraft videos as I, a grown ass man, remember from my literal childhood!

Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL the US Navy maintains a private forest to supply the wooden ship USS ConstitutionEnglish
43·4 months agoBack in the early 2000s the people responsible for maintaining the national forests of Denmark, wrote to the navy that the oaks planted after the British destroyed the danish navy during the napoleonic wars, were now ready for shipbuilding!
I always thought it was quite amazing that the knowledge that these trees were set aside to rebuild the navy survived in the institution for some 200 years.
I completely agree! I guess there are more people on Lemmy using android than iOS. It’s a bit more in line with the ethos I guess? And Mlem is only iOS.
I used to be android as well, but honestly I won’t ever go back I don’t think. But to each there own
I second that! It’s great. I tried a few different ones at the start, then tried Mlem and never looked back.
They actually aren’t in Russia but either Georgia or Azerbaijan I don’t quite remember which for that specific scene. But I believe Georgia.
Although that might change in future I suppose. At least Russia seems to want that… sigh

On their website (energydome.com) they claim “75%+” round trip efficiency, so not a bad guess!
