I’m glad, that was ridiculous af. I hope he never lives it down. Like that absurd acorn cop.
That said, please try not to throw edible food at people. If you gotta weaponize food, at least try to use stuff that is no longer edible.

What a Leta-down!

The bigger the better, as long as there’s content, or the game lets you create content (as in crafting).

Thanks, mate. I was on the phone last night, so I couldn’t check. I’ll give it a try.
Edit: That was nerve-wracking. It’s Nov 4 here, and I was sure it was over, but I managed to find where to redeem and did so. Not sure I’m going to play just yet (I’ve been on a Minecraft binge lately), but at least I have it.

Does it run on Linux?

I got into Bloodlines after Redemption. It’s a setting I really liked, though I was never able to get into the TTRPG aspect of it.
Redemption has the better story and better RPG, but Bloodlines has better gameplay and better voice acting.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
I’d add Redemption as well. It’s super rough now, but I played it 20 years ago, and I was amazed by all the lore. I didn’t know until after I finished it, that the game was based on a TTRPG.

Don’t worry, some of our governments are working really hard to be like the USA.

When my grandpa became ill with dementia, it would be one theme (a word, topic, anything) that caught his attention. It would be that, nonstop, until something else caught his attention.

But legal experts say criminal charges are unlikely.
The right to self defense and the right to carry a firearm are both strong in Utah, Vilos said, and prosecutors would face a high bar in trying to prove criminal charges against either man.
If everyone’s armed, everyone’s threatened. 🤷🏻♂️

Oh, no nononono! 😂
I meant, if someone who isn’t a mechanic or engineer tells me “I’ll change it”, I don’t imagine it’ll end well for them. Final Destination style.

That’s the least of the problems. There are plenty of examples of these fucks who died and then are used forever and ever to push the same, or even worse, agendas “in their name”. Imagine Trumpism in 70 years.

I think I’m going to change it, by the way
If only he really did try to do it personally. Physics can be one heck of a teaching experience.

They’ll get you eventually. I wasn’t doing anything bad, never got into trouble, never spammed, etc. I was active in small Linux subs, helping people. One day, I was simply shadowbanned. Only thing I can think of is the use of a VPN.

It won’t happen if you are logged in, but it’s very likely that your account will be shadowbanned eventually.

The Last of Us Part 2 has amazing voice acting. Part 1 as well, but the second game goes beyond.
Only Uncharted 4 feels close to that level (unsurprisingly, considering it’s from the same studio).

Wow, this is lazy. I wanted FO3 to get a remaster, not this. It doesn’t even look different. FO4 currently runs pretty well on Linux. I played it last year with no issues. I’m generally not against remasters and remakes, but only when there’s obvious improvements or extra stuff. This is just the same game.

So, in the end they turned off the thing that caused this whole mess and everything is still working.
What’s the point of having it, then?

It affected less than a hundred games since 2015, and Valve discovered it in late 2024, and sent an email to the affected developers. One of them made a reddit thread, which is what most people reference.
However, the dev that went public ended up being a bit weird, because the game had been in Early Access for 10 years, and at the time of release it was nowhere near what had been promised. They also sold 100k copies over the years, but apparently not selling a thousand on day one was too bad. Never mind that they didn’t seem to have a community, done any sort of marketing, or I don’t know, use itchio? They decided to abandon the game, and start a new project. 🤷🏻♂️ Reminds me of the Stranded Deep devs, so I’m not sympathizing at all.
Edit: wording
Expired or clearly inedible, right?
