So yes. You deny history. What a shame.

You must get tired from all the mental gymnastics. Kettle meet pot.

I only have the one account. You are delusional. I can’t be bothered to reply with any more effort because it would be wasted on you.
syreus@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Trump announces Japan trade deal with 15% tariff on importsEnglish111·5 days agoA lot of our cars won’t fit on Japanese roads and inner cities, however, the US already exports quite a bit of rice to Japan. I think the most popular rice used in Sushi is grown in California. That being said, if the market exists, then American automakers will attempt to make model(s) that appeals to Japanese sensibilities. This will probably just result in Toyota manufacturing marginally more in the US only to export the vehicles back to Japan.
Both sides broke the Minsk Agreement and the whole thing was a ceasefire brokered after Russia INVADED CRIMEA. Yes Russia started it. Now to some people it’s a debate on if they were justified but it was absolutely and without question an aggressive movement of Russia on Ukraine.
I tried to read into this but I’m not going to pay 900 Euro to read the report.
There are plenty of good reasons why opinions on the US are souring but I can’t think of a single reason why anyone would raise their opinion on Russia given they invaded a sovereign nation and their list of war crime is stacking up next to Israel.
Stalin Derangement Syndrome? Are you a Holodomor denier by any chance? He was a seriously flawed individual who made some seriously poor decisions. There are too many testimonials to ignore the mismanagement of the USSR. The US definitely pushed it off a cliff but it walked up to the edge.

It will be far too late to matter but it will come out one day. I hope they all lose their middle manager jobs at Staples and can’t afford their insulin.

People can’t be bothered to read so a single number to indicate something is unhealthy is rad.
I bought a boot removal tool my first year of college and was the savior of my friend group.

You are frothing trying to make an enemy of me but read with a little more care. I was always an ally and you are here trying to divide us. I feel like you didnt understand my comment so I’ll repeat with emphasis.
It(Your use of redneck and hick as a pejorative.) drives those undereducated and uninvolved people(Single issue/peer sensative voters) to identify more with this asshole( The racist asshole that you somehow need me to clearly point out is both racist and an asshole.)
Read carefully.
syreus@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Congressman Brandon Gill tells mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani "Go back to the Third World"2·27 days agoIt’s clear I thought the first was offensive as well. Lemmy is all righteous anger and no purpose these days.
syreus@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Congressman Brandon Gill tells mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani "Go back to the Third World"108·27 days agoThere is nothing wrong with living in a rural area or being a blue collar worker. The last sentence there is unnecessary.
As someone who has been in both those demographics, this guy doesn’t represent me or the hardworking albeit sometimes simple people I grew up around.
Please don’t use those words as a cudgel. It drives those undereducated and uninvolved people to identify more with this asshole than the progressives that have more in common with them beneath the surface.

Religious intolerance by the state directly contributed to the staged and incremental reduction in that groups QOL.
For Americans, 1A protects religious speech even if it is a bit frustrating when you hear someone preaching in the street. I wouldn’t hazard undermining 1A even though we are all tired of bad actors abusing it.(Westboro Baptist Church, Proud Boys, etc)
syreus@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Trump accuses Biden's team of 'treason' as he changes tune on former enemy11·2 months agoThe only example you call out doesn’t even ban religion. It’s restricted in China and I think the Uyghur population there can explain that it’s not sunshine and rainbows.
'China’s constitution says ordinary citizens enjoy “freedom of religious beliefs” and the government officially recognizes five religions: Buddhism, Catholicism, Islam, Protestantism and Daoism (also called Taoism). ’
syreus@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Trump accuses Biden's team of 'treason' as he changes tune on former enemy1·2 months agoOk. I’ll bite. What countries aside from North Korea ban organized religion?

Be sure to check out the Alhambra Palace in Granada and hike up Montserrat near Barcelona(take a bus to the monastery).
Also, there are some neat caves and underground river called the Caves of San Jose.
