This is why I introduced my kids to scuba diving as soon as they could get certified. It’s an expensive hobby but you can combine it with family vacations. Most vacation places near water have dive shops and will rent you whatever equipment you need

uid0gid0@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's something you immediately judge a person for when you see them wearing or have?1·1 month agoHow to recognize a true believer, from Matthew 7:16-20:
16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

It was simply the first example found of what cane to be known as the Decree of Memphis. It was required to be put in every temple. I think the rally of these stones is up to six currently.

One example is if you’re traveling southbound on I-75 the exit to Canada is shared with Vernor hwy, a major street in Detroit. Taking this exit, you can actually see the bridge to Canada on your left. However the exit splits at that point and you have to take the right lane to go to Canada. There is only one sign telling you this so if you miss it and are in the wrong lane you’re going to Canada. No other option at that point
Malt-o-meal is also a name brand rather than a store brand. Just less well known than Kellogg or General Mills.
Malt o meal is just better in general. The Colossal Berry Crunch is better than Cap’n Crunch too. And you can buy the giant bag that lasts forever.

She can’t do Signs because she is a Source, as Triss discovered. That was at least half the reason her Witcher training was cut short and Triss took over her training before they sent her to Yennifer. The other half being the herbs and mushrooms they were giving her were interfering with her development. She never got the Witcher mutagens at all. Ciri’s abilities are completely different from those of a Witcher due to her Elder blood.

In my case I’ve had the uncanny ability to regurgitate the most useless trivia about almost any subject that I’ve read about. It took me longer than I care to admit to realize that no one wants to hear that shit.

A non-bnding oath that no licensing board or medical school requires beyond a formality? Doctors are not going to risk their medical license in the form of law-breaking, Especially with the Texas state AG saying they will prosecute
uid0gid0@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•A Pregnant Teenager Died After Trying to Get Care in Three Visits to Texas Emergency Rooms2·9 months agoState medical licensing boards usually consider flouting the law to be unprofessional conduct so doctors are really in a bind here. You should direct your ire to the people who created this situation not the ones who are caught in it.

The US implementation of chip and PIN left off the PIN. The reason given was “no one wants to put in a PIN every time” so for the vast majority of transactions you just hold up your card to the sensor or put it in the chip reader. PIN is only required for cash withdrawals in my experience.
