The US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln passed Singapore early on Sunday as it made its way home following an arduous deployment in West Asia. The carrier is expected to make a port call in Thailand.
Associated Press journalists on Indonesia’s Batam island, across the Singapore Strait, spotted the massive vessel shortly after 1:00 AM local time as it sailed through waters near Singapore.
The Lincoln’s deployment included a record-setting stretch of more than 250 consecutive days at sea.
Concerns have mounted over the carrier’s prolonged deployment following reports of worsening mental health among crew members and shortages of supplies, including food and hygiene products.
Thai officials have said the Lincoln will stop in Thailand for rest and recovery before returning to its US home base.

This makes my skin crawl. We all know what Yankee regime storm troopers do in South East Asia, specifically Thailand, when stationed there. It upsets me that The Cradle isn’t pointing it out at all, and only giving the state department line on the reasoning.
Let me be completely transparent about what I think, and what is likely true. CETECOM saw that its foot soldiers were getting antsy. So now they’re bribing them with Thai women and girls they can rape at their pleasure.
Maybe my view is too pessimistic, but frankly that’s what I see it as, and unless a comrade is able to provide a more logical explanation, it’s going to be the thing I’m most sure of.
Are there any leftist groups in Thailand that could work to protect their people from the Yanks?
I’m not the right person to ask unfortunately. All I know is that Yankees treat South East Asia as their personal secual playground, and US soldiers are notorious for being rapists anywhere they’re stationed.

⭕️ According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 5 Palestinians were killed and 14 others were wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. The ministry said the deaths included four newly killed Palestinians and one who succumbed to previous injuries.
The ministry said many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams remain unable to reach them.

❗️Washington demands Hezbollah disarm, says Lebanese government is sole legitimate channel

The US State Department on Saturday renewed its call for Hezbollah to disarm, stressing that the Lebanese government is the “sole legitimate” channel for discussions concerning the country’s affairs.
The position was issued by a State Department spokesperson and published on the official X account of the US embassy in Lebanon in response to a media inquiry.
“The Trilateral Framework clearly states that the Lebanese Government is the sole legitimate interlocutor for discussions about the future of Lebanon and on behalf of the Lebanese people,” the official was quoted as saying.
The statement said the US apparently supports the Lebanese people and wants Lebanon to be a safe and ‘sovereign’ country, but Hezbollah “must disarm” for that to happen.
“When Hezbollah decides it is ready to do so, it can talk with the Lebanese state, with whom we are already in dialogue and tell them it is ready to turn in its weapons. Then we could try to bring the views close to each other,” the State Department official said. “But as it stands, Hezballah so far does not want to talk to the Lebanese state, nor talk to us, nor talk to Israel, because it is simply taking orders from Iran. It’s time for Hezballah to do what’s best for Lebanon and the Lebanese people.”
