    ❗️USS Lincoln to stop in Thailand after 250 days at sea

    The US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln passed Singapore early on Sunday as it made its way home following an arduous deployment in West Asia. The carrier is expected to make a port call in Thailand.

    Associated Press journalists on Indonesia’s Batam island, across the Singapore Strait, spotted the massive vessel shortly after 1:00 AM local time as it sailed through waters near Singapore.

    The Lincoln’s deployment included a record-setting stretch of more than 250 consecutive days at sea.

    Concerns have mounted over the carrier’s prolonged deployment following reports of worsening mental health among crew members and shortages of supplies, including food and hygiene products.

    Thai officials have said the Lincoln will stop in Thailand for rest and recovery before returning to its US home base.

    This makes my skin crawl. We all know what Yankee regime storm troopers do in South East Asia, specifically Thailand, when stationed there. It upsets me that The Cradle isn’t pointing it out at all, and only giving the state department line on the reasoning.

    Let me be completely transparent about what I think, and what is likely true. CENTECOM saw that its foot soldiers were getting antsy. So now they’re bribing them with Thai women and girls they can rape at their pleasure.

    Maybe my view is too pessimistic, but frankly that’s what I see it as, and unless a comrade is able to provide a more logical explanation, it’s going to be the thing I’m most sure of.

        I’m not the right person to ask unfortunately. All I know is that Yankees treat South East Asia as their personal sexual playground, and US soldiers are notorious for being rapists anywhere they’re stationed.

        I am from the nation. To put it succinctly, no.

        Currently, Thailand’s “left” are rising neoliberals who wish to replace the royalist establishment conservatives, and they are directing people’s greviance to free market reforms.

        This is also not helped by rising nationalist sentiments as a result of the border conflict with Cambodia, basically reinvigorating the army’s popularity which results in more defense budget and propaganda on the usual shows.

        Speaking of the media, most of Thailand news channels are basically conservative leaning with maybe the occasional liberal to appear centrist.

        I won’t discount that there could be leftist groups in Thailand but they likely wouldn’t be known either on the internet or in public which means they won’t have the power to do much.

        The only saving grace is that there are public incidents where Thai people would assist their own in beating the shit out of said rapist war criminal who are stupid enough to be openly lecherous (like Israelis) but that is only in the public who can say what happens when the camera isn’t turned on.

      Given the present, disastrous morale of the imperialists and the collective experience of all people who have had the misfortune of suffering the presence of these Yankee devils, I’m inclined to agree, comrade. The world would be a far better place had the devils cut each other’s throats out out in the open sea instead.
