For more than a year, we've heard Democrats, and even the Republican Governor, call on lawmakers to consider red flag laws in TN. It came up Wednesday in the House, but not how advocates envisioned.

    Very simply, laws that stop dangerously crazy people from having guns.

    Which is rich coming from the ‘it’s not the guns, it’s mental illness’ party.
