I think that sort of thing would end up being closer to Ebay or Facebook Marketplace rather than Amazon but yet a marketplace or a way to have people advertise things even with a tag on Mastodon like #Marketplace and maybe a few marketplace lemmy communities.
That could be a good start till people build out Fediverse Software that would help people find items in there local area or business’ can sell things directly on here.
I’d like to see store fronts/marketplaces. It could put a run at Amazon.
