It seems like there’s some evidence building to suggest this is the case though, no? I think he is far from someone who would argue that the US wouldn’t go to war without being manipulated, but in this case there’s ample reason to believe Trump is under Israel’s thumb

GenZedong@lemmygrad.ml•Would US separatist movements be possible and/or advisable?
17·19 days agoI’ve been thinking about this quite a bit as well. It seems like the most likely way that any kind of revolutionary movement would come to fruition in the US, as a countrywide revolution seems many levels more difficult.
Seeing CHAZ in Seattle during the BLM protests planted the seed in my head, specifically in the case of a Cascadia-type state. It would be a difficult split though to be sure, the USA would have a lot to lose to a breakaway state and I’m sure would put up a fight against it. If US imperialism is weakened enough and spread thin in conflicts elsewhere in the world, it could be a moment of opportunity for such a movement if proper organization is in place.
I also wonder if as US empire declines, and turns inward, if capitalist infighting will lead to some level of balkanization anyway.

7·24 days agoThe dems especially at the highest levels are some of the most fanatical warhawks in American politics. Just look at Hillary Clinton, she is practically frothing at the mouth over attacking Iran.

7·1 month agoI think you’re right about the marketing audience angle. Even all the christian nationalists who were pissed about Bad Bunny’s inclusion still watched the Super Bowl, just not the half time show. The NFL gets the best of both worlds this way vs. having a halftime performer that appeals to the crowd who is already watching the Super Bowl for the football anyway.

18·1 month agoThe way American’s talk about regime change is so insane. Random people with little to no geopolitical knowledge and absolutely no political experience, will flippantly say, “This is a great opportunity for regime change in Iran, we can’t pass this up.” Or, “I would love to see the Cuban regime toppled.”
They talk as if they are strategizing military generals, in on the plan. Like bro, you are just some random American, how would any of this even benefit you?
Having a reasonable conversation on the topic can feel like a Sisyphean task.

18·2 months agoCan’t lie, I was initially sucked into a few of his videos when it seems he got a huge push in the Youtube algo. I started seeing major red flags when he attributed every country’s entire motivation to religion. For, at least supposedly, teaching in China, I was thinking some kind of class analysis would come into play, even if he didn’t align with the CPC. But no, he doesn’t touch on capital or class at all. The world in his eyes is driven completely by individual psychology and religious beliefs.
He went on a strange rant in one video about how he believes our ability to think is inexplicable in a purely material world view, and how he believes he gets his writing ideas from a higher power.

13·4 months agolosing touch with reality
Zelensky, and the other European leaders, have been out of touch with reality for quite some time now I’m afraid lol

I’m so sick of business executives and middle managers. I have to work with many of these people and it drives me insane. Their jobs consist of saying things like, “we need to monitor this closely”, that’s basically their whole job.
Like no shit I’m going to monitor this, that’s all I get paid to do.
