Despite not completely agreeing with the method, flying into Japan is so easy now. Literately just go get my passport sticker-ed, the more stickers the less questions, look in the camera, grab my luggage, check in a podium terminal and mark that you don’t have pets and find out what exit to go through, and then walk out, another camera scans your face as you walk out. I would say the only thing that’s slow is the baggage claim. Korea is really bad with this one.

I think eventually it will be inevitable. But I’ll stick with cash as long as I can, not having something in your hand makes it really easy to overspend.

Where I shop there’s only two in the center parking and you may as well take it all the way back into the store if you’re not in the main parking area. I mean I’m not saying I don’t put a cart away if the corral is nearby but I mean I’m not going to take 5 minutes to put a cart away. Also those magnetic wheel locks, nothing I can do about that, it’s anchored to where it locks.

Good luck with that, I can’t even get people my age or older to listen and it’s not communication skills but rather everyone wants to hide under a blanket. I was I think 16 when I was in a government class and the teacher comes in all pissed off and asks, “does anyone know what the Patriot Act is?” since it was just passed. Other than myself only one other student raised their hand. And that’s when I got the feeling that we’re fucked. This is kind of the way I look at leaving carts out; everyone has this righteous outlook on putting your cart away as it’s judge of character. Obviously you haven’t worked in retail before; I would jump to oh you need help taking this outside? Or, hey there’s some carts out there can I go get them. Because you know what, standing in a square (register) all day long is like prison.

I’ve noticed this quite a bit. I have a couple tshirts I bought for $2 on clearance when I worked at JcPenis. They’re still good 15 years later. But anything I bought in the last few years just falls apart. The irony is, the tshirts I bought in Japan last year for maybe $8 each are built like tanks even though they’re made in China (Uni Glo lol).

Okay, so I’ll say this. The doggies with guns/etc have been extensively prototyped, you don’t hear much about it because it happens in other countries. The only reason I know is because of friends that I’ve worked with.
