I’m about to take a long flight and am looking to expand my music library.
EDIT: Thanks so much, everyone! I’ve got 10.5 hours of music on my new playlist thanks to you all!
Cool song, cool video
Oh dank, I had no clue there was a video. Good callout, the new album was great
The new Deafheaven album is amazing.
Snooze - I Know How You Will Die - Out of left field discovery. They have a really diverse sound scape. It’s mostly metal but does a good job of not following a set genre of metal.
BCNR - Forever Howlong - is a grower, not a shower. At first I didn’t really like Tyler’s songs because she left absolutely no room for anything to breath. But I’ve done a 180 on them as I find her voice so soothing.
dang, I think we’d be great friends! The Snooze album is most likely going to be my album of the year, and I also strongly agree, new Deafheaven is fucking great. Looking forward to the new Vildhjarta too, whenever that drops!
you probably won’t like this but I like it

Artist: Bear Ghost
Album: Jiminy
Song: Sirens
The whole album is great and I’m always trying to get more people to listen to this band.
Japanese Breakfast, the latest single Picture Window has been living in my head rent free since I first heard it
All the music on the show Letterkenny is amazing and whoever curated that is a genius. I especially like Peaches, Fuck The Pain Away.
MF DOOM
The new Skrillex album is quite possibly his best.
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. About to release their 27th album and have covered pretty much every genre so no matter what you like, there’s probably a record for you. My favorite is the Flying Yellow Microtonal Banana, full of great tracks, but Billabong Valley has broad appeal.
I’ve been getting into tech house lately. It’s fun and catchy with really satisfying bass.
This is my favorite new to me song of the month: https://pearlcharlesmusic.bandcamp.com/track/does-this-song-sound-familiar-12-version
tagged as rock, desert rock, folk rock, garage pop, psych folk, psychedelic pop
For me it’s a track by an artist called tuki:
ひゅるりらぱっぱ - HYURURIRAPAPPA

doseone’s new album with Steel Tipped Dove is EXCELLENT. dose deserved so much more fame than he got.
rest in peace, Alias.
I’ll check that out, no idea he was still making music! And yeah rip Alias, loved Anticon and his own material back in the day (that Deep Puddle Dynamics record <3)
You have great taste! I saw him during a Subtle tour back in the day.
If you haven’t heard his album with Alias, Less is Orchestra, it’s one of my favorite albums of all time. I could not recommend it more.
Ah awesome, would have loved to have seen cLOUDDEAD at the time myself, enjoyed most of the stuff on Big Dada too.
Gave All Portrait, No Chorus a listen and dug it (was that a Cannibal Ox ref in the first track?!), will add the Alias/Dose One collab to the list… thanks!
Ooo pleeease check out Less is Orchestra, it’s seriously amazing. I’ve had multiple friends ask who it was when in my car, even friends who don’t like that kinda music. I think it’s in my top five albums of all time right now.
Time for you to get into some American Football Never Meant (music video)
Stone cold classic, good to see other emo bands like Penfold back too (praying for a Europe/UK tour)
